Hey, friend! Thanks for stopping by! I’d love to share with you the joy that’s been happening in my life recently.
Two weeks ago today, our wonderful squad arrived at the AIM campus. Backpacks + water bottles in hand, they came equipped with the BOLDest questions and vulnerable hearts. I am in serious awe every time I interact with them. With the highest respect and love, they challenge me + the entirety of our leadership team with hard questions. I find myself learning so many things that I never even thought to ask. Gosh, I’m thankful. Their hearts and laughter are some of the sweetest and purest I’ve ever seen. Thanks, God.
We worship through song as a Gap E family often, which I adore, and worship doesn’t stop there. This family worships in the way we treat one another. Love is at the forefront. This family worships in the way we heed the direction in front of us. As a leader, I feel so seen and loved as I’m inviting them into discipleship; this begins with the ‘small’ details of asking someone to check and see if they’re in dress code, and the beauty of eye contact when giving direction. Gosh, this squad cares about the details. Our Father cares deeply about our details. Thanks, God.
Do you like to party? Well, I personally LOVE to, thanks for asking. So whatever your answer may have been, I’d love it if you’d join me in celebrating today. We celebrate health! Our squad is completely healthy and thriving physically. Thanks, God! We celebrate connection! Our squad values relationship and seeks it out in every way. Sharing a table is holy ground – the Lord moves mountains when we say yes to Him. And this squad says a big yes every day. Thanks, God! We celebrate hugs! Gosh, if you know me you KNOW I love a good hug, and these people give incredible hugs. Thanks, God!!!
Today as I sit in the 66-degree rainy weather, I’m sipping my coffee while my Ohioan heart sings. It feels like the sweetest autumn day…. The only thing missing is a fall candle. But that is completely alright, because wow – I feel and know that I’m right where I’m supposed to be. Being here with the Father’s children is the MOST fun – and such an honor. Thanks, God.
Would you partner with me in praying over our Gap E family? The Father is already doing amazing things in their lives as they continue to say yes to Him. Their rawness never stops blowing me away; I know He is so proud to call them His own. Also! Praying for continued health, in every aspect! Physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
